Early Medieval History

When: 1st Tuesday in the month, 2.30pm to 4.30pm
Where:
House group in Central Croydon

This group meets to study the history of Europe and the Mediterranean from the fall of Rome and the development of Constantinople through the so called “Dark Ages”.

We would welcome new members in our study of Europe and the Mediterranean from 300 to 1000. A new member would either have to have a knowledge of this period or be prepared to do reading to catch up. Although we do not have a lecturer, we believe it is much more interesting because each person is expected to prepare a small topic and engage in lively discussion. It is also necessary to do some background reading. We link up with the Archaeology Group for some outside trips.

Please contact the group leader for more information.
