Welcome to Croydon u3a

Another day, another challenge!

Volunteers' Week and The Great Big Green Week were both in June.

Much of the world runs on the work of volunteers, and ALL of Croydon u3a does. From the supporting jobs to the group leaders, to committee, all of Croydon u3a works that way. And it's fun! If you haven't yet volunteered with us, do have a go - you'll learn a lot and meet loads of people.

On 15th April 1987 CROYDON u3a was formed. Since then, many aspects of our organisation have remained the same - Interest Groups, Monthly Meetings, Outings & Holidays, Low Cost Fees...

BUT many things have changed for the better - greater cultural diversity in the membership and activities, greater awareness of climate concerns, a website, email membership, zoom meetings, Social Media presence, QR codes, quality speakers at meetings... BUT our open and friendly welcome to all will never change.
