The Riverside & Canals Walks Groups were launched in 2024 and offered our members opportunities to explore and Learn about the local industrial history, socialise and Laugh over a cup of coffee and thereby Live an active life. Members have enjoyed 2 ½ to 3 ½ mile leisurely strolls along rivers, canals and reservoirs in Central and Greater London

All five walk groups are currently FULL. However, we are always on the lookout for new Volunteers to lead a new Group 6 and maybe even 7. The walks follow the same format and itinerary and peer mentorship is offered to Riverside & Canal Walks Group Leaders on the first Wednesday of the month April to October where the walk route is tested and finalised.
