Riverside & Canal Walks Group 5

When: 4th Friday at 9.45am between April and October.

The Riverside & Canals Walks Groups were launched in 2024 and offered our members opportunities to explore and Learn about the local industrial history, socialise and Laugh over a cup of coffee and thereby Live an active life. Members have enjoyed 2 ½ to 3 ½ mile leisurely strolls along rivers, canals and reservoirs in Central and Greater London

During 2024, the groups walked along the Thames in the Isle of Dogs, Wapping, Woolwich and London City Island and River Wandle. Canalside walks along towpaths introduced groups to the Lea Valley and Brentford. Lots more is planned for the seven exciting walks this year.
