When: 2nd Tuesday of the month at 8pm.

We are a group of people with an interest in all aspects of science and technology. Our backgrounds vary from IT and engineering to healthcare and teaching but most of us just want to know more about science. 

The topics have emerged through our discussions and have often led on from one topic to another when we decided we wanted to know more about something we had touched on. Otherwise, members have suggested topics from perhaps a book they are reading or something that had caught their interest in the news. 

Topics have included traffic management, the vegan diet, fungi and lichens, climate change and that led onto a discussion about migration caused by climate change, our microbiome and that led on to a discussion about genomes and how our genetic makeup influences our health.
